• Reserved racers online entry begins: Oct. 15, 2011

• DEADLINE: December 1, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. PST

2) NEXT GENERATION • ages 11 & under
Please click the link on the left for details on how to enter if you are a Next Generation racer.
NOTE: Next Generation will NOT be able to enter through the Lottery, Invitational or Race Supporters spots.

3) THE LOTTERY
95 spots - open to anyone and everyone ages 12 & up who wants to race in the Banked Slalom.  We put everyone in a big hat and draw out names randomly.  We do not specify certain numbers of spots for each category; it is a truly random draw, and therefore reflects more accurately the snowboarding population who applies for the lottery.   We do reserve 25 of the 95 lottery spots where we give applicants a better chance depending on how many times they have previously applied to the Banked Slalom Lottery and not gotten in.   The spots are drawn in order of seniority according to how many years you’ve applied for the Banked Slalom and not gotten in. (i.e. four year applicant gets seniority over three years, three over two, etc.) Spots will be randomly drawn within seniority groups.  The rest of the 75 lottery spots are a random draw from all applicants.   We will accept entry applications until Nov. 1, 2011. Notification of lottery applicants’ status will be e-mailed by Nov. 12.  All lottery winners must complete the online entry and pay the entry fee by Dec. 1, 2011 - if the entry and entry fee are not completed by Dec. 1st, the lottery winner will lose their spot.

* All Lottery Applicants will be charged a $5.00 non-refundable Lottery Fee. (in other words, even if your name is not drawn in the Lottery, you do not get the $5.00 fee refunded). All Lottery Fee proceeds will be donated to a charitable organization, to be name shortly.

• Reserved racers online entry begins: Oct. 3, 2011

• DEADLINE: Nov. 1, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. PST
