2012 LOCALS QUALIFIER

 REGISTRATION IS CLOSED!

FOR REGISTERED RACERS:

#1: RACER CHECK-IN
When: Monday, January 16, 2012 between 9:00 a.m. - 9:50 a.m.  If you do not make it to registration during this time, you will not be allowed to race.  Check the Category running order to see when your category runs - if you are in the first 3, you should be at registration by 9:20 in order to make your start time!
Where:  Main floor of the Raven Hut Lodge (at the bottom of Chair 5)
What:  Sign the 2012 Locals Qualifier Liability Release & Indemnity Agreement and pick up your racer bib
Important:  All racers must pick up their racer bib IN PERSON.  All racers will be required to sign the 2012 Locals Qualifier Liability Release & Indemnity Agreement. If you don't sign it, you can't race.

Racers under the age of 18: must have their Parent/Guardian complete the 2012 Locals Banked Slalom Qualifier Parent/Guardian  Release Agreement in order to race in the Locals Qualifier.  If your parent/guardian will not be with you at the Raven Hut Lodge during registration, download the attached form, print it out, have your parent/guardian sign it, and bring it with you to the registration.  Your completed release form must be legible and in good condition... so toss it in a ziplock baggie!

#2:  LIFT TICKETS
Racers are required to have either a current Mt. Baker season pass or daily lift ticket.  Check our website at www.mtbaker.us for lift ticket rates - sorry, racers do not get lift ticket discounts.

#3:  ITINERARY
9:00-9:50:  REQUIRED Racer check-in on the main floor of the Raven Hut Lodge
9:00-9:55: One course inspection run, if conditions and time allow.  Racers MUST BE WEARING THEIR BIBS to inspect the course.
10:00-1:30:  The Race... one run only
End of the Race:  Award Ceremony in the White Salmon Lodge
All times are dependent upon weather, course condition, etc.  Make sure to keep checking the white board at the top of the course for updates throughout the day.
Race category start times will be posted at the top of the course at 9:00

#4:  THE PRIZE
We will be qualifying at least 20 top finishing racers total from the Locals Qualifier for the 2012 Legendary Banked Slalom race. Qualifying racers must complete the online entry form and pay the entry fee by Friday January 20, 2012 at 5 p.m. PST in order to claim their spot.  It is the racer's responsibility to contact Mt. Baker for LBS registration instructions before the deadline. If they do not successfully complete the form and pay the entry fee by that deadline, their entry will be void and their spot given away to another lucky racer.  How many racers qualify from each category will be determined by the total number of racers and the size of the categories.
